The “Wear it Pink” headline is everywhere—in social media, on the streets, in businesses and schools, and in the fashion and cosmetic industries—all to support breast cancer awareness for the month of October.

Women are resilient, beautiful and warriors. We do it all! As women we lead, we support and we are multitaskers.

The pink ring bbon is an international symbol that unites all of us, showing our conquering spirit and support—bringing different nationalities, races and genders with varying political and religious viewpoints, together in support of a common goal. We want a cure for cancer!

Most of us have lost loved ones, or know someone close to us living with cancer or someone who has recently been diagnosed positive.

Many celebrities have become advocates of breast cancer awareness and research, such as Christina Applegate, Elizabeth Hurley and Rob Lowe who each lost family members to breast cancer. There are many other celebrities who are advocates for and/or survivors of breast cancer.

Many Fashion Designers and Cosmetic Companies, such as Bobbi Brown, have developed special collections or products to offer their customers and donate generous amounts from the proceeds to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
