Is your skin thirsty? Drinking more water can give your skin a beautiful glow.
According to Huda Beauty, “I see a lot of similarities in people who drink a lot of water; literally no pores, their skin heals better and looks more youthful.”
On photoshoots, I always see models drinking water. I never see them drinking sodas.
UW Health states, “If you your skin is not getting the sufficient amount of water, the lack of hydration will present itself by turning your skin dry, tight and flaky. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkles.”
If you’re tired, drink some water. Your brain and entire body functions better when you are not dehydrated. Erin Palinski-Wade, RD, CDE states, “Two studies from the University of Connecticut put men and woman through a series of cognitive tests and found that even mildly dehydrated affected their moods, caused fatigue and headaches.
Remember, your skin is a canvas when applying makeup. A dried out canvas is challenging to work on. Cosmetics need something to adhere to. And doll, mood swings, feeling fatigued and headaches may be soothed with a tall glass of water, and at the same time, give you beautiful skin.
