Clip-in hair extensions are the rage! Most Victoria’s Secret models wear clip in extensions. In the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Paris 2016, the model’s long, clip-in hair extensions were all laid out on the table with their names on them to be worn on the runway. The hairstylists gave the models bouncy sexy curls. It’s important to use Premium Remy hair clip-in extensions. It’s the highest quality of human hair that has been exquisitely prepped. Clip-in hair extensions add fullness, length and are easy to use.
I asked Leslie Stratton (who lives in Hollywood, CA) to tell me about her experience with clip- ins. Leslie said, “I have been using Euronext clip-in extensions for seven years. They have been such a game changer for me in my day-to-day life. Since I’m an actress I often have to get ready for an audition extremely fast. They are very easy to install by myself and I feel beautiful with them in. I heat style them over and over again, and they’ve held up for many years. My extensions totally give my confidence a boost and help my thin hair look thick. I am so thankful to have found the Euronext brand!”
To create the look I gave Leslie for her photoshoot, I used a heat protector to protect her hair. Then, lightly sprayed Tecni Art Next Day Hair (my favorite to add fullness) at her root area. Next, I used a 1 1/4 inch barrel curling iron. Each curl was alternated going forward and the next going back. In this way, the curls crash into each other adding mystery and movement—by not getting clumped together. I then lifted up each section and shook it with my hands, and used Tecni Art Infinium 4 hair spray to lightly give a moveable lived-in look—not like a Darth Vader (Star Wars) helmet.
First, prep your hair by brushing it. Then make a horizontal section below the occipital bone (by placing your hand on the back of your head and can feel a bump on the ridge; that’s it) this is about where you want the placement of the first extension. Then use hair spray lightly at the root of your hair and slightly tease the area where the clip in will be placed, so that it has something to adhere to.
Make sure to also brush the extensions so they are tangle free, before applying. Now, place the weft on the part line and attach the middle clip first and snap it closed. Then, snap the outer ends shut.
Now that your first section is completed; start making your next horizontal section above the occipital bone and repeat. For a step-by-step tutorial on Euronext clip-in extensions; check out

It’s important to take proper care of your extensions. Do not wear your clip ins to bed, nor go swimming with them as chlorine and tangles will shorten the longevity of the hair.
Euronext extensions can be colored by your hairstylist and there are two extension pieces in the package without the clips for your hairdresser to use as test strands. To wash, I recommend the Kevin Murphy Hydrating Wash, Hydrating Rinse and Hydrating Mask (The Mask can be used every other third time the extensions are washed).
In the sink, fill it up with tepid water and then squirt some shampoo in and swirl it around. Then, put the extensions in the water. In an elongated manner, hold the hair (do not tangle it ) and gently cleanse. Then rinse and follow with a hydrating conditioner. Rinse with cold water (which gives hair more shine), leaving thirty percent of the Kevin Murphy conditioner in the hair. Gently pat the excess water out with a towel.
Next, spray a leave-in conditioner/heat protectant (I love Series Expert color 10 IN 1). Then, let the extensions air dry on a flat surface. If you need them to dry faster turn on your blow dryer to a cool setting. When the hair is completely dry comb through.
In closing, there are many women who want extensions, but do not want the 24/7 commitment. No more making appointments to have one’s extensions moved up. Furthermore, clip ins do not have to be washed as often because they aren’t worn to bed where they can get sweaty. Clip-in extensions save time and money. Put you extensions in and enjoy the cat walk.
